With a background in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship, Max worked for 15 years in the recruitment industry across the UK and Australia, from Trainee Consultant through to Director level in various industries, but always with a heavy focus on Contract/ Temp growth and efficiency.
While recruiting, Max observed two key problems facing recruitment companies. Firstly, many agencies were not efficient in dealing with the complex administration tasks required to maintain a happy temporary workforce. Secondly, large corporate management companies didn’t understand, or want, business from recruiters; as such they received slow, poor service, expensive rates, unfunded solutions and low accuracy.
Max identified a need for a genuine recruiter focused, comprehensive support function that allowed recruiters to prioritise what they do best; finding great talent, and so Gorilla Payroll was born. Since inception in 2015, Gorilla Payroll have supported thousands of temporary workers across an ever-growing client base who rely on us to support their journey with dedication, flexibility and value.
